Do I need a Stripe or GoCardless account already?
No — if you don't have one, we'll guide you through opening it (it's free, no monthly fee, standard UK KYC for a sole trader). If you already have one, we work inside it.
Do you ever see or hold my money?
Never. Everything is configured on your own account, paid directly to your own bank. We only set up the links and reminder automation.
What if a parent still doesn't pay?
The automated reminders handle the first 14 days without you doing anything. Beyond that is a judgement call for you as the tutor — we can advise on next steps, but chasing genuinely unresponsive payers isn't part of this fixed-price setup.
Can this work for recurring weekly students and one-off sessions at the same time?
Yes — that's exactly why we ask about your billing pattern before building your links, so recurring students get a Direct Debit mandate and one-off sessions get a simple payment link.
